NOTES ON COSTS AND FUNDING: 

• Once in DC, we will take care of all your liquids (since this is a fast) and will provide free meals to start and end the fast.
  The "registration fee" indicated in the form below is purely optional, and is used to help us cover basic costs as well as subsidies for others.
• Need help getting to DC? Try fundraising to pay for your travel expenses. You can set up fundraisers through places like GoFundMe or Facebook.  We also offer a "Sponsor a Faster" pledge sheet (PDF) so that you can approach people in person.  Think family members, teachers/professors, local organizations, clergy, friends, etc. Anyone can help sponsor your efforts. Set a goal - say $400 for a plane ticket. That's only twenty people giving $20. By setting a goal you can give potential sponsors an idea of what you need, and let them decide how much they can afford. No amount is too small.
• If you anticipate that you cannot fundraise to cover your travel expenses to DC, you may apply for a limited travel subsidy. Please fill out the application and return to us no later than June 1st. Download the form here (PDF).
• With housing, please indicate on the registration form below if you need financial assistance or need to be paired with other participants to help keep costs down.
