REGISTRATION FOR THE FAST AND VIGIL
Please fill out the online registration form if you are attending IN PERSON. If you are only able to participate remotely, do NOT register here. Watch the schedule page for Zoom registration info in June.
IMPORTANT: The deadline to reserve a bed in our shared housing is May 26, 2027. Anyone who requests a bed after that night may be put on a waiting list.
The suggested $20 registration fee helps us cover basic costs for the event, but we welcome additional donations to help offset our other expenses.
NOTES ON OTHER COSTS TO PARTICIPATE:
FOOD & MEALS: Once in DC, we will take care of all your liquids (since fasting is a part of the event for some participants) and will provide a free dinner to start and end the fast. If you are not fasting, meals off-site are your responsibility.
TRANSPORTATION: Need help getting to DC? Try fundraising to pay for your travel expenses. You can set up fundraisers through places like GoFundMe or Facebook. We also offer a "Sponsor a Faster" pledge sheet (PDF) so that you can approach people in person. If you need any assistance, we offer limited travel subsides. Contact us for more info.
LODGING IN DC: For housing, you can either make your own arrangements, or we are offering a shared housing space (bunk bed rooms of 4-10 other participants per room) which is a short walk from the court. The cost is $50 per night per person. You can also indicate on the registration form if you are arranging for your own hotel and want help finding a roommate to share the cost.
